The expedition is based in Tulum, Mexico. Tulum is on the edge of the Sian Ka'an World Heritage Site, and its beach has been voted one of the best ten in the world. Expedition members are immediately immersed in teaching English classes in the community in conjunction with their TEFL training, and have opportunity to gain teaching experience throughout the expedition.
