Through its 7 phases, the play speaks of the duality of human nature and the stereotypes which hinder people in integrating duality within themselves and experiencing themselves completely. The aim is to develop in the audience the awareness of themselves and of the environment with which they interact all their lives.
The play, conceived as a process and not as a final product, is a sort of research of the Dodir(i) Theatrical Ensemble, which aims at the complete integration of deafblind persons into modern society and provides a context/platform for investigating the limits of creative and free expression of every single person.
The play is also a sort of excursion into a documentary/dramatic form, inspired by the life and work of Dr Helen Keller and her teacher and interpreter Annie Sullivan.
