Lucky Fan Selected to Play Video Game Against Tiger Watch Him Showcase His Famous Golf Trick Shots
Do you think you can beat Tiger Woods? Perhaps not on the golf course, but superfans today had the opportunity to challenge him in Tiger Woods PGA Tour® 08. Tiger surprised customers as he visited GameStop's (NYSE: GME) flagship store in NYC and challenged gamers to play him on some of his favorite courses. Lucky fans were selected from GameStop to accompany Tiger to Chelsea Piers where Woods put on a trick shot show.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour® 08 will be breaking new ground with two innovative game features this year. EA SPORTS™ GamerNet is a revolutionary game play system driven by interactive user created content. It allows gamers to save their amazing shots, holes or rounds, and post the content online for other users to compete against. In addition, players can now use photo game face to generate photo-realistic game characters with no artistic skill required, by uploading photos. Players can take their created characters and style, dress, and accessorize them through the game's already deep customization systems.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 will be available on the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system, the PlayStation®2 and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, Wii™, Nintendo DS™, Mac and PC.
