o don't mess with ends unti the video is done
o need to spend more time with the audio editing tools

o don't movie your movie tracks around until you've cut them

o keyboard commands to speed up the editing process

+ ctrl + e to edit audio
# but it doesn't edit the piece you just split. It edits the whole darn track!
o stretching scenes is not easy...
+ as hard as I try I can't find a way of extending a single frame for longer...

+ makes it less than ideal for screencast editing
o timesnapper saves images of the screens
+ load the screengrabs into the video editor then add voice over
+ rendering lots of pngs is not easy
# Vegas Video doesn't export just the selected images/video for rendering as individual pieces
+ rendering takes lots of time ... even with my beefy box it's taking too long...
+ rendering only pngs gives a total file size of 90M!
