The Kaiser Health plan covers millions of people in California and is the largest HMO in the United States. It is facing one crisis after another from a cover-up of their kidney dialysis units to the firing of workers who stand up for proper healthcare and health and safety on the job.
This program will look at Kaiser from those who have been on the inside and healthcare advocates who are fighting for proper regulation and oversight. The program will also look at how the Kaiser system is affecting the entire healthcare industry and what kind of model this will mean for the future of healthcare in the United States.
