Fender 1966 Vintage Closet Classic Stratocaster Electric Guitar...
The ’66 Stratocaster Closet Classic guitar faithfully recreates one of the great Fender guitars from one of the most wildly creative years in popular music.
It’s an exact reproduction of the original, using the same techniques and tooling, right down to its nitrocellulose lacquer over urethane finish, “big peg” headstock with ’66 transition logo with three patent numbers, early ’60s C-shaped neck with Pearloid inlays, “F” neck plate and vintage tuners. Even the pickups have been duplicated to the exact specs of the original.
This guitar features our “Closet Classic” treatment—built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away. It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts.Fender 1966 Vintage Closet Classic Stratocaster Electric Guitar...
