Jeff Dlouhy : Summer of Camino 2
36:22  - 2 years ago
Every summer, Google helps over 130 open-source software projects by funding students to work on a project of their choice. CCIS sophomore Jeff Dlouhy was one of 900 students in the last Summer of Code. Working with the Mozilla Foundation, he implemented a new feature in the Camino web browser. Dubbed 'Tabsposé', the feature transforms the browser's tabs into a screen of thumbnails the user can review at a glance. In this talk, Jeff will share his experiences with this project and open-source development as a whole. If you've ever thought about getting involved in open-source development, now's your chance to hear first-hand what it's like.
