February 23, 2003 Christopher Shays, M.C. (R-CT-4th) tries to scare his consitutuents into accepting the need for war with Iraq based on baseless claims of Weapons on Mass Destructuion (WMDs). He spends a great deal of time in ad hominens and beside the point comments. Yesterday Shays announced his support of Senator John McCain for President no doubt in the belief that Shays would get a place in McCain's administration quite possibly the vice presidential spot. Shays is one of two Congressmen to win reelection in New England where McCain desperately needs to win.
