Frustrated at the decline in serious journalism since the Rose Revolution, in January 2007 with funding from the European Commission, Nino Zuriashvili and Alex Kvatashidze started their own investigative production company. They immediately produced results, but there’s a problem.
The people of Georgia have not seen this compelling and important investigative report because none of the TV stations in Georgia will run it. It’s been offered to them free of charge.
This investigative report claims one of the top law enforcement officials in Georgian government had his officers plant drugs and weapons on two innocent citizens (brothers). The brothers were then arrested, imprisoned, tortured and convicted.
