Tardigrades (water bears, tardigrada) are cute microscopic animals. Typically they live in small water droplets on mosses. When the moss becomes dry the tardigrades stop metabolism and form so-called "tuns", i.e. a dry state. A droplet of water is enough to revive them. The video shows a time-lapse sequence of a tardigrade rehydration and revival (speed 150x).
