LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 14, 2008) - Mayor Jerry Abramson hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with 3rd District Congressman John Yarmuth and J.C.P.S. Superintendent Sheldon Berman, announcing the Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.) Center’s new location at 981 South 3rd Street—more than doubling in size with over 8,000 sq. ft. Formerly located at 200 West Broadway, the Y.O.U. Center provides an array of free services to enhance job seekers’ academic and job readiness skills for youth ages 16-21.
