Seafury International is now celebrating its 20th year of operation, and predominately exports to Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States. Our drive units have been refined over the years through constant research and development, and we now feel that we have the ultimate solution to our clients propulsion needs.
Our distinct advantage is our 45º transom, which gives our units superior reversing performance where other surface drives do not, (we have seen controlled astern speeds of up to 14kts). There are also advantages over more costly propulsion systems such as jets and other articulated drives, from benefits in the maintenance area due to a lack of moving or exposed parts.
Seafury International Ltd design and manufacture drive systems, based on the use of surface piercing propellers. Using a unique design, Seafury Surface Drives use less fuel, require less maintenance, allow for a shallower draft, and provide faster speeds than conventional drive systems.
Manufactured in four standard sizes, the Seafury units can be used in single, twin, multiple, or mixed drive units, and are ideally suited, but not limited to, sports fisher boat, work boats, coast guard vessels, patrol and rescue vessels. Commercial dive boats, water taxis, high speed ferries and recreational vessels also benefit from the enhanced boat performance that Seafury Surface Drives can offer.
Each system is supplied complete with propeller; rudder and steering tiller link, propeller shaft and coupling flange.
