DATELINE FDP... Florida Democratic Party Communications Director EXPOSED!
25:42  - 2 years ago
In the October 18, 2007 article in the Pasco Tribune entitled "Darkhorse Raises Fist at Democrats" Florida Democratic party Communications Director Mark Bubriski is quoted as follows Bubriski "Russell showed up at the party headquarters in Tallahassee a few months ago with his lawyer and a video camera, Bubriski said, and started harassing his staffers At one point, staff members even considered calling the police to remove him. "He seems to be in his own world," Bubriski said. Pictures are worth a thousand words as the saying goes and Mr. Bubriski ought to remember that. Accompanied by "cameraman" Mark Adams, it is clear in the nearly 30 minutes of unedited video published here that I was in no way harassing staffers throughout the nearly 90 minutes that Mark and myself spoke with Mr. Bubriski. At no time were we asked to leave and in fact departed in a congenial fashion shaking hands as we departed. Clearly, the video camera has become indispensable in protecting ones self from false allegations and accusations by any number of Florida Democratic Party officials at this point. Inquiring minds want to know, and I believe in this very important time in which we live, most people would prefer to hear the truth. I believe that I have found my role be that as citizen or candidate for office. The story in which Mr. Bubriski was quoted centered around this citizen Democrat being banned from attending a recent gala over fear that I might ask some questions of some "important" Democrats that might have led to either embarrassing answers... or non-answers. It is my assertion that America finds itself in the predicament that it is in abroad in Iraq, elsewhere and here at home because good people have chosen to remain.. SILENT. "Good" Democrats fearful of losing their seats where they reside in oblivion, unwilling to represent the people for fear of "upsetting their benefactors" who finance their campaigns are as without principle as some of their more notorious counterparts on the opposite side of the aisle. The chair of the Florida Democratic Party has demonstrated that her level of competence, principle and motivation is grossly insufficient for scaling the mountains that lie ahead in this election year. As myself and others have called for both personally and publicly in the past, I call for the resignation of Mrs. Thurman post haste... for the good of not only her party but for the good of America in this most important election season. John Russell, 2006 Democratic nominee, 5th Congressional District, Florida
