This video starts with arrival in Florence and the Hotel Torre Guelfa where a spectacular view of Florence is seen from the top of the hotel tower. On Easter Sunday morning (33 minutes into video), there is full video coverage of an event called the Scoppio del Carro also known as the Explosion of the Cart (click the slide bar forward to see the fireworks quicker). This takes place in front on the famous Duomo or Cathedral in Florence and is a worldclass event with crowds like in NY Times Square for New Years Eve. The pageantry is majestic and well worth planning ones vacation just to see. Florence of course is amazing and the Hotel Torre Guelfa is the best with central access to everything.
