This is the fifth video lecture in a series about the information technology revolution, vis-a-vis long time UC Berkeley Professor Manuel Castells' work. This video focuses on questions of sociability vis-a-vis the Internet and related empirical data in the mid-late 1990s. How do communities and individualization take shape anew in the context of the information technology revolution.
