A sermon preached by Pastor Nelson Turner concerning God's sovereignty and the right way to salvation. Using the parable of "The Pharisee and the Publican" together with the Gospel accounts of the Lord's meeting with the rich young man, Pastor Turner reveals via the words of Holy Scripture contained in the King James Bible (Authorized Version of 1611) how the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father view the proper disposition for salvation of sinners.
Only when you are given the spirit of repentance; the ability to humbly acknowledge that only Jesus Christ can save you from your sins; and the conviction that nothing you can do via your own will apart from God's is efficacious unto salvation can you enjoy the hope of realizing the fulfillment of the promises revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ concerning God's salvation of His Elect. Your salvation is about God's sovereignty, NOT about your own free will.
