The race begins at 4,000 rpm on the M6 tach in 2nd gear (way outside the M6's powerband - giving the 911 the advantage) This was done deliberately so the Porsche gets the jump and we get a better view of the race from behind.
Since this race was filmed at night, it is difficult to see all the details. So, to give you guys a better guage of distance and speed, I keep calling out the speed in mph as the race progresses.M6 - 3,000 mi.
