Voice of the Turtle II was a "sequel", performed in 1997, to the Voice of the Turtle, performed one year earlier. The cast had a successful show. There were ten seniors, twenty juniors, four sophomores, and seven freshmen. With all the energy, talent, and desire to entertain, the show was of top-notch quality.
Voice of the Turtle II took place Saturday, 1997-April-19 at 20:00, with two shows following on Sunday, 1997-April-20, one at 14:00 and another at 20:00. The show was again based loosely on some concepts from "Up with People" and included a large variety of songs from the 40s, 50s, country, and folk. "Up with People" provided permission for songs of theirs that were sung.
The directors were Ms. Ferguson and Patti Wood. Miss Durley and Mrs. Kruger also provided assistance.
The band consisted of Greg Lenz (percussion), Andy Steil (guitar), Dr. Bob Smith (guitar and saxophone), Matt Wolfe (bass), and Ms. Hilt (violin).
The Cassville High School (CHS) students in the performance were as follows:
