When David Andrews a Nevada and Yosemite-Mono Lake Paiute Native American got up after Doolittle and spoke. Here is some of the footage shot by the Paiutes and local news reports. There are some glitches but very interesting to watch. John Doolittle spoke against the casino. The tribe later got a casino in the Placer County and has shared with the County. The casino employs over 1,800 people….fears that the casino would increase crime in the area have proven unfounded. Placer County Sheriff’s Department Lt. George Malim. Malim said records show no increase in crime in the three neighboring communities. Malim said the casino has worked with his department to combat crime. For example, the casino provided $500,000 to finance the hiring of five new deputies and the purchase of a police car and other equipment, he said. Congressman JOHN DOOLITTLE, who spoke against the Auburn Indian Casino, received $64,500 from Jack Abramoff, his partners, and his clients between 2001 and 2004…mainly from Indian casino profits.
