Tina Seelig, executive director of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program at Stanford University, gave a talk on “What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20: A Crash Course on Making Your Place in the World” at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 as part of the University of Rochester entrepreneurship lecture series. The event was held in Gleason Hall Room 318/418 on the River Campus.
Seelig, who holds an undergraduate degree from UR, has worked as a management consultant for Booz, Allen, and Hamilton, as a multimedia producer at Compaq Computer, and was the founder of a multimedia company called BookBrowser. She has also written 15 science books and created educational games. Recently, she was the co-recipient of the National Academy of Engineering’s prestigious Bernard M.
