First, award-winning playwright August Wilson of "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom", "The Piano Lesson", "Fences", and "Two Trains Running", discusses his play, "Seven Guitars", which focuses on seven African American characters in 1948. The play is part of Wilson's 10-part cycle on the African American experience in the 20th century. Then, 29-year-old Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli discusses her stage debut at the New York Metropolitan Opera House as well as her musical family.
