Reports had surfaced that Fat Joe and Atlantic Records were on the outs and that the rapper was in the process of being dropped by the label. Fortunately the reports were false and Fat Joe has actually renegotiated with Atlantic Records and the label will now distribute his Terror Squad label.

Fat Joe has been recording since 1993 when he released his debut album, Represent. The rapper talked about his longevity in the rap industry. He said, "Every now and then, you know, I think about it, be like, 'Oh s**t. I'm still here.' You know what I mean, cats, you know, ain't here no more like that, so it's a blessing. Just my will to survive. You know me just wanting to strive to be the best. Me refusing for let people knock me down, you know what I mean?
