On July 25, 2001, Alex Jones used his Austin-based public access program, Infowars, to broadcast "OPERATION EXPOSE THE GOVERNMENT TERRORISTS." On this program, warned of a likely terrorist attack on U.S. soil, naming the World Trade Center as a likely target as well as Osama Bin Laden as a likely asset to be used by the Government in its attack on its own country. Jones asked his audience to first research the validity of his claims, then to call the White House, Congress and other public figures to warn them about the attacks and to state clearly that IF there is an attack, that "we" know who to really blame.
