This footage is taken by my low quality camera from women's peaceful gathering in Tehran's Hafte Tir square on June 12, 2006. 70 people were arrested that day and women were harshly beaten by the police. I couldn't capture much of police brutality. But there are lots of photos out on the Internet who show that. In this footage you can see the dominance of police and undercover agents in the square and the crowd. I put Farhad's music on it because I thought its message is suitable to the situation. Iranian women are good women. They just want equal rights with men. I hope they will have the right to have peaceful gathering and won't be beaten or arrested anymore.
