Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto(1928-1979) was one of the most charismatic leaders of the world. He was the founder of the largest and most influential political party of Pakistan -Pakistan Peoples Party. Educated at Berkley and Oxford, Bhutto served as President (1971-1973) and Prime Minister (1973-1977) of Pakistan. Bhutto had courage of his conviction to decide to lay down his life rather than compromise with military dictator who over threw his democratic govt. in a coup. In what is now regarded as a controversial (court) trial, he was hanged and thus, last chapter of his life became a glorious example of martyrdom for the cause of resurrection of democracy.
