Pastor Nelson Turner from AV1611Reformation.com preaches on the Gospel of John Chapter 7 in a one hour sermon delivered for the AV1611Hour for January 18, 2009.
Pastor Turner shows that the doctrine of Jesus and that of those who oppose His doctrine are at enmity:"The world cannot hate you, but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil."
And here again we witness the biblical teaching that the fleshly, carnal works of this world are not the same as the work of God: "that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent."
And what is the response of those who hear the words and see the works of the Lord Jesus Christ if they be not among the elect of His Father? They seek to kill Him.
And Pastor Nelson mentions that this is the way the world and those whose faith is in worldly works always behave toward Christians and those bearing the good news of faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
