The 1000-page prescription drug Medicare bill was written by drug lobbyists, presented to congress on the same day of its vote, ramrodded through congress with heavy-handed threats and coercion during an all-night session by corrupt politicians who later took multimillion dollar jobs with these same drug companies, and prohibited Medicare from using its massive purchasing power to negotiate discounts from the drug companies (as other groups like the VA does). The result: almost 300 billions of extra profits for the drug companies over ten years. You, the taxpayer, are paying for this! This is outrageous. Do you like being bent over and taking it in the you-know-what by these criminals? Don’t let them get away with it. They should be thrown in jail where they’ll get some of what they’ve given us. What has become of this country's Christian heritage?
