Why screencasting?

* Why specifically for teachers?

Far too many can't compete in the workplace partly because they lack computing skills... they are transferring that lack on to students...

If it wasn't true there would be a lot more teachers putting their own networks together...
Networks are easy to assemble with LTSP. Hardware is free for the asking. Most teachers just don't know how to use a computer effectively or know how to demand more from the community in a coherent solution based manner and so they keep pushing paper... and boring students into boring jobs that Flatworlders will take...Why screencasting?
