General Alexander Haig talked about the Nixon administration. He was interviewed by Mr. Naftali. General Haig was a special assistant to the National Security Council before becoming chief of staff to President Nixon, and later was named supreme allied commander in Europe and secretary of State by President Reagan.
The whole event took about an hour and a half. I filmed about 10 minutes.
This was the inaugural event of the library's "In Conversation" series of interviews about the Nixon administration and its place in history. Conversation with General Alexander Haig
