"Death of a Nation": This sermon by Pastor Nelson Turner originally delivered February 1, 2009 (Super Bowl Sunday) discusses the present crisis and threats to liberty, as well as the assured future ruin of the United States of America given the current moral climate and rule by the reprobate.
Citing verses throughout the Bible, Pastor Turner explains that a nation is blessed when its God IS the Lord; and that among these blessings are liberty, prosperity, and peace for the people living therein.
Contrary to the politically correct, no-price-to-pay attitude and mantras ("it's all cool", "do your own thing", "do what you wanna do", "live for today") which have become the the guiding lights of so many, Pastor Turner reveals the judgement which ALWAYS comes upon a nation which has forgotten its God to commit fornication with the idols of the world and the false religions thereof. It is a judgement which begins with the loss of liberty and must certainly end with loss of life.
Seeing the warnings multiplied all around us, and knowing Holy Scripture and the lessons contained therein, those in whom God has planted His seed of life, washed in the blood of Jesus, alive with belief in His resurrection and in His Word, the Holy Spirit working in us must do all that is possible with God's grace and by His will to reclaim our nation for Him, that again it will be possible to proclaim liberty throughout the land.
