Tambi�n observa que Vicente Espinel era de la provincia de M�laga, provinvia donde toma lugar el festival. Yo vengo de Panam� / con mi cari�o y mi esfuerzo / porque la escencia del verso / s� que naci� por ac�./ Y yo s� que el pueblo est� / escuchando el decimal / y se inicia el festival / ante un p�blico nutrido / y mis versos he tra�do / de la tierra del canal. / This greeting shows another typical theme: a proud reference to the poet�s country of origen. He also observes that Vicente Espinel (inventor of the d�cima espinela) was born in the province of M�laga, where the festival is taking place. I come from Panam� / with my affection and my effort / because the essence of poetry / I know was born around here / And I know that the public / is listening to the d�cimas. / And the festival begins / before a numerous audience / and I bring you my poems / from the land of the canal. /
