The business of being big is big business. It's no secret that obesity costs the United States billions of dollars in health care costs each year. Companies are using the same strategies people are: diet and exercise. (broll) McDonald's, Kraft and other food firms have been changing their menus to address complaints that their food is full of fat. McDonald's is opting for fewer fried items and more salads. (chart) Last month, it's global sales were up 4.5% even as its stock price is at eight month lows. (broll) The diet business was put in play a week ago when the world's biggest food company Nestle bought Jenny Craig for $600 million. Greg Gorbantenko is an analyst with Jackson Securities.
