CONSCIOUS AGING – FROM CHILD CARE TO ELDER CARE, with Various Presenters. We are imbued with Spirit from first breath to last. Alzheimers and other diseases of old age do not change that. 85% of the residents admitted to long term care answer yes to question, “Finds strength in faith?” It is our responsibility to provide them the outlet for the expression of that Faith, dementia notwithstanding. This Panel is designed for both professionals in the field and individuals who are caring for their elders. Michael Langevin, moderator. Michael is the founder and publisher of Magical Blend Magazine and Transitions Magazine. Justin Moreau, an ordained minister since 1975, is currently the Administrator of MediLodge of Hillman, a Skilled Nursing Facility in Northern Michigan. Dannion Brinkley, founder of Compassion in Action, trains hospice workers around the country. Robert Perala works with Compassion in Action and has logged over 500 hours at the bedsides of people in transition. Marshall White is a Zen priest serving in the Emergency Room and Oncology Ward at Sharp Hospital in San Diego. James Morrison stars in the FOX hit "24" as Bill Buchanan, head of the Counter Terrorism Unit.
