I don't want my video to appear in Google Video search results. What do I do?

If you'd like your video removed from the Google Video search results, please follow these application-specific instructions:

Other third-party site. If you uploaded your video to any other site, please have that site's webmaster follow the instructions in our removal information for webmasters page.

Once the webmaster has removed the video from the Web or blocked it from being included in our index, our search results will automatically reflect this change after we crawl the site again. If the webmaster makes changes and you need us to expedite the removal of this video from our results, please submit your request using our webpage removal request tool. Alternatively, the webmaster can submit a request to expedite removal of the video using the URL removal request tool in Google webmaster tools.

YouTube. If you uploaded your video using YouTube:

  1. Log in to YouTube.
  2. Click the "My Videos" link in the upper right corner of the homepage.
  3. Click the "Remove Video" button below the video you'd like to remove.
Google Video. If you used the Google Video Uploader:
  1. Sign in to your Google Video account.
  2. Check the box next to the file name that you wish to remove.
  3. Click the "Delete Videos" button found on the bottom of the table.
  4. Confirm the removal request by clicking "Delete Videos."
