Google's SafeSearch filter eliminates sites that contain pornography and explicit sexual content from your search results. While no filter is 100% accurate, SafeSearch uses advanced proprietary technology that checks keywords and phrases, URLs, and Open Directory categories.
To enable the filter, please visit the Google Preferences page and select the "Use strict filtering" option that appears to the right of the "SafeSearch Filtering" heading. Be sure to click the "Save Preferences" button when exiting. While we don't currently offer a way to password protect or lock this setting, if you have cookies enabled, you should only have to enable SafeSearch once.
